Mary and Hunter’s church wedding at Georgetown Epiphany Catholic Church and reception at Sequoia Restaurant was the perfect blend of Washington DC locations to bring together all of the beautiful details.
Mary and Hunter are an adventurous couple who love to travel, be around friends, stay active, and have fun! Their wedding incorporated their love for travel with little details throughout the wedding which included a world map seating chart, bride and groom beer steins and table numbers named after cities they’ve visited together.
First and foremost, we love restaurant weddings. Read all about why here. Sequoia Restaurant in particular, is a Washington, DC-based restaurant offering a stunning event space for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Located in historic Georgetown, this one-of-a-kind wedding venue overlooks the Potomac River, the Kennedy Center, Watergate, and the Virginia skyline. If providing your guests with a true upscale, urban wedding experience on the waterfront is what you desire, then this is the place to do it!
Everything from the couple’s amazing band to their personalized travel-themed touches, made this wedding the perfect blend of classic, romantic, and modern! We were so honored to have been a part of creating a flawless, stress-free day for Mary and Hunter. Congrats to the newlyweds!
