Being an introverted bride is somewhat of a paradox. For introverts, quiet time to recharge is really important to prevent overwhelm. But when you’re a bride that can be really hard to find on your wedding day. Weddings can feel intimidating. Like they’re all about being out there, connecting with people, and making yourself the star of the day. If you’re not 100% comfortable with being the center of attention, here are some tips for the more introverted among us to keep in mind…
1. You can have as much privacy as you need. Whether that means saying your vows in private, having a small reception. It’s your day and you can plan it out any way you want!
2. You CAN and SHOULD factor in alone time with your partner. Whether this is a first look, or some down time right after the ceremony. Talk to your Wedding Coordinator about how to work this into your wedding day timeline.
3. You can throw tradition out the window and not give in to family pressure. This means your wedding doesn’t have to look like what your in-laws want or what tradition dictates.
4. You can change your mind...even on the day-of. It’s your day, so you control what happens on the day. Communicate any changes you want to your Wedding Coordinator. She’s your gatekeeper and will be running the show. Whatever you need to feel ok, we’ll make it happen!
